In my old flat I was doing fine coping with Tinnitus but now its loud and I cannot put my finger on why it should be ? The humming noise in my right ear is dreadful in the middle of the night: the Tinnitus in my left ear is lower than before ? I don't really know if the humming noise is Tinnitus or Hyperacusis ? I wonder do some of you guys classify a humming noise as Tinnitus ? My understanding of Tinnitus is of bells or siren type noises in the ear or at the top of the head. The interface on the whole feels a little over-engineered and artsy and as a result feels a bit sluggish.I've recently moved into a new flat in a nice quite part of the Scottish borders and my Tinnitus has got worse, I don't no why, since I don't easily get stressed even when moving into a new area as many people find moving house very stressful, I take it in my stride. Select a favourite and the volume controls for each sound could be presented as a little drop-down arrow and adjusted and saved on the fly. It would be better if you could adjust the volume of all the sounds in your favourite, within the favourites list. Then, when you do this you'd have to save it as a different favourite if you wanted those levels again. If you want to adjust the volume of a particular strata in your soundscape, you have to unintuitively turn that sound off and back on again to get the individual volume control back. I've used it on my phone and Mac and both apps are almost identical. The variety of soundscapes that can be created is infinite and I'm expecting it'll come in handy for settling our baby when she arrives. It does a good job at drowning out the repetitive playlist even at fairly low sound levels (with decent headphones). I use this app to block out the awful radio station we have to listen to in the open plan office at work. ‘Want to learn the art of power napping but can’t switch off?
